Open loadmate, choose the sign-in method you want to use, accept the legal documents when they appear, then continue to set up your rig. Signing in first means everything you set up afterwards is saved to the right account. You can ask “can my car tow this caravan?” on the research path without signing in. The steps below are for when you are ready to set up your own rig, where your answers are saved to your account.

Sign in options

loadmate offers four ways to sign in. Pick whichever suits you:
  • Google
  • Apple
  • Email and password
  • Email link
The email link option sends a sign-in link to your inbox, so you can get in without a password. After you request a link, loadmate shows a waiting screen and checks for the link to be opened. There is a short wait before you can resend, and you finish on the same device you started on. Signing in is free, and so is looking around. Pro only comes up later, when you save your own rig data.
Available sign-in methods can vary by device and store. If a method is not shown on your phone, choose one of the others.

Region and account repair

Your region sets the units and terminology you see across the app, such as kilograms or pounds and the weight terms used for your country. loadmate asks for your region once. Most of the time you do not see a region step here, because your account already has a region or your earlier research choice carries over. If your account is missing a region, or has one loadmate no longer supports, a region step appears after sign-in. Tap your region, confirm, and continue. Before loadmate sets up your account, you agree to three documents: Each is shown as a card you can expand to read in full. You can open any document for the complete text on the website. Tick the single checkbox to confirm you agree, then choose Agree and continue. The button does nothing until the box is ticked, so nothing is recorded until you have agreed. If you decline, loadmate signs you out and returns you to the start. You can sign in and try again whenever you are ready.
If loadmate updates one of these documents later, you are asked to agree again the next time you open the app, with a note saying which document changed. This keeps your agreement current.

Continue to rig setup

Once you have agreed, loadmate takes you to rig setup. If you do not have a vehicle yet, you choose how to start: add your own vehicle, or explore with sample data first. After legal acceptance, choose whether to add your own rig or open the demo rig first. You can switch to your own setup whenever you are ready.
